Why did you decide to study interior design ?
My educational path led me to this profession. I have always been drawn to geometry, shapes, colors etc. At first, I studied building design, which is a fairly technical profession. After a year in the field, I decided to open my horizons to a profession that is a little more artistic and creative. I now have the chance to do a job that I love.
What is your favorite style of decoration and why ?
I’d say Scandinavian design is my favorite. I found a lot of inspiration in this style. I love the appearance of simplicity that Scandinavian design offers, which in fact feels quite sophisticated. It is elegant and usually in comforting neutral tones. In addition, it's easy to integrate your personal touch to create a decor that fits you..
What is the project you are most proud of ?
My professional career is just taking off. But I’m very proud of the hairdressing salon design project that I completed during my technique. By bringing its share of challenges, this project allowed me to discover a profession that I cherish today. Although it didn't really come true, I put a lot of effort into it and I'm very happy with the end result.
What do you love most about your job ?
I love the diversity that my job offers me because almost every day is different. But what I really like is working on concepts. What drives me is to put my creativity engine in motion and create spaces in which it is good to live.
What are your next projects?
I mainly work on commercial and institutional projects. Upcoming projects mainly consist of the development of office space, daycare and school.
